If I told you my index and middle fingers on my right hand are my money makers, you might think I was some sort of magician. However, it is true. First of all, they are used to determine when a laboring mother is ready to push her baby out. That's right; I am a labor and delivery nurse. I have been doing this for the last 20 years both in the military and civilian worlds.
Though nursing is stressful, being a military nurse added a different dimension and additional pressures. My first duty station was Germany, and on my days off I would explore Europe and use my point-and-shoot camera to capture my adventures.
From this hobby grew my love of photography. Now as a professional photographer I use my money makers to capture images I want to share with the world. It is fate how a stress reliever brought me to my two passions of travel and photography.
Traveling is a yearning many aspire to do in their lifetime, but because of many reasons, they are left with just a dream. I hope that the images I create inspire people to experience what this world has to offer. One of the most important things anyone can do for themselves is travel. Everyone deserves to see the beauty of this planet we call home.
So as the Italians say... ANDIAMO! Let's go!
